This thermal scope features a 35mm Germanium lens, a 384 x 288resolution thermal sensor, and a 3x base magnification with a detection range of up to 1800 m/yd. Out of the two 384-resolution options, this thermal scope has a higher base magnification and a slightly narrower Field of View a (7.5 5.6 or 40 ft @ 100 yards)giving you a healthy mix of scanning coverage with improved identification capabilities at further distances.
